2003 Playgrid: General Information

Here are the facts about the 2003 PlayGrid:

  • The PlayGrid displays the result in 1 yard increments. It is now possible to have a 27 yard gain, or a 1 yard loss.
  • Only one swipe needed to read the card--EVEN FOILS ARE READ ON THE FIRST SWIPE.
  • Automatic touchdowns are possible.
  • The old cards are compatible with the new PlayGrid.
  • The order which the new PlayGrid asks for cards is slightly different. The PlayGrid asks for offensive play, defensive play, defensive player, then offensive player.
  • The PlayGrid itself is black; the missing player button is gray.
